We highly recommend getting your dog switched to a harness for their on-leash time. Collars are associated with several neck injuries and muscle strain.

For your dog’s health

A dog straining against a collar can eventually impact your dog’s gait and potentially cascade into other issues. There is an adjustment time for switching to a harness much like getting your dog used to being attached to a leash.
